Royal Wedding parties in Marple Bridge
There was no doubting the enthusiasm for the royal wedding in Marple Bridge. A street party in honour of Prince William and Kate PHOTOGRAPHY BY JOHN COCKS

There was no doubting the enthusiasm for the royal wedding in Marple Bridge. A street party in honour of Prince William and Kate Middletons nuptials sold out in no time and members of Marple Bridge Assocation were overjoyed by the success of the event.
Neighbours made new friends as the bunting fluttered in the breeze, sandwiches and cakes were demolished, the champagne flowed and some guests even shed a tear. Oh happy day!
