This was the third year of running the event saw a total of 217 cars lined up “Le Mans” style on the Promenade. Members attended from all over the country, from as far from Scotland and Cornwall.
The previous Saturday held a track racing day at the Anglesey Racing Circuit and quite a few members combined both events to make it a weekend in North Wales. The event concluded with an organised drive around the Great Orme in convoy.
With 13,000 enthusiastic members, Porsche Club Great Britain is one of the country’s largest motoring clubs, providing members with a wide mix of activities from regular regional gatherings to high-profile, national events. The Club also organises a full motorsport programme, allowing both the enthusiastic amateur and the dedicated competitor to test their cars to its limits. It is the only British Club recognised by Porsche and is open to all enthusiasts whether or not they own a Porsche.
