Recent highlights at Marshall House that caused a lot of media interest was a rare Art Deco diamond necklet that was brought into the saleroom by a private gentleman for inclusion within one of their specialist jewellery sales. The Auctioneers advised the client of a 30,000 - 50,000 estimate and started to market the sale worldwide through the major internet sites, adverts in specialist publications and the distribution of high quality catalogues to their private clients. After fierce bidding between a packed saleroom, live internet bidders and telephone bidders too, the auctioneers hammer finally came down at a staggering 70,000.

Just prior to the Jewellery sale the auctioneers had discovered an incredibly rare pair of porcelain sauce boats in the kitchen cupboards of an elderly Cheshire lady who was retiring to a nursing home. The sauce boats were the earliest of English porcelain, made in Chelsea around 1745 and bore the exceptionally scarce blue triangle marks. Again the auction experts carried out extensive research before marketing the sale and again achieved an incredible sale result of 41,000, the sale was filmed by the BBC for one of their daytime Antiques TV shows.

Nick Hall, Principal Auctioneer & Valuer at Frank Marshall & Co said This just goes to show that with the fine reputation for professionalism our company has established and our high levels of expertise and marketing, we are able to compete at the highest levels for achieving fantastic results for our clients.
