An inspirational Cheshire teenager’s battle with cancer was behind a glamorous black tie ball at Stockport Town Hall.

Hannah Booth, aged 18, a former pupil at Aquinas College in Stockport, has a rare form of bone cancer and has been told she may have only a year to live. Hannah has created a ‘bucket list’ of things she wants to do and they include seeing the Northern Lights, riding in a helicopter and raising funds for and awareness of teenage cancer.

This glitzy ball, attended by her family and friends and some local personalities including Key 103 presenter Darren Proctor, was organised to raise funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

To find out more about Hannah’s plans you can read the courageous teenager’s blog and Facebook page, called Hannah’s Journey.
