For the past 20 years, Cheshire Life has supported the Inspiring Women Awards, recognising the achievements of women in our region. Our readers have both nominated and been nominated for categories spanning business, community, the arts and sporting endeavours.

In 2020, the Awards will be celebrating 28 years and your nominations are as important as ever. 'We're incredibly proud of our association with the Inspiring Women Awards,' says Cheshire Life Editor, Katie Mulloy. 'It's vital that we continue to highlight the achievements of local women not just to celebrate them in their own right, but so that future female generations can be inspired by role models in all realms of life.'

The categories for 2020 are: Business, Community, Entrepreneur, The Manchester Bee, The Inspiring Young Woman Award and Here Come the Girls. All are open for public nominations via the website inspiringawards.co.uk. Closing date for nominations is 27th March 2020, and winners will be announced at the Awards Lunch on 15th May 2020 at The 5-Star Lowry Hotel.

'It is a testament to the values of these awards that even after 27 years and numerous other awards available, we still receive nominations from the public for those women who enhance our daily lives, support others or act as role models for all generations. To be able to give light to these stories is at the heart of everything we do,' says founder Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy. u
