Children from Blacon and Prenton high schools were among models who strutted their stuff on the catwalk in aid of Wirral Holistic Care Services. The pupils, some wearing bespoke prom dresses and smart suits, and others displaying Bra Art outfits were the stars of the show at the glamorous event at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel.
Wirral Holistic Care Services is a therapeutic cancer centre in Claughton which offers free complementary therapies and support to patients in Cheshire, North Wales and Merseyside.
Thelma Sutton, from the charity said: It was a fantastic night and the event was a great success. The children looked fantastic in their hand-made clothes. Two boys had made their own three-piece suits. All their clothes were as good as, if not better, than high-street clothes.
Prenton High pupils are hoping to display some of their creations in local public buildings.
