It was hosted by MCFC and England footballer James Milner and his fiance Amy Fletcher to support the NSPCC, Help for Heroes and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Among the guests were players David Silva, Joe Hart, Gareth Barry, Scott Sinclair, Joleon Lescott, Richard Wright, Javier Garcia, Gael Clichy, Micah Richards, Pablo Zabaleta, Jack Rodwell as well as Stephen Warnock, Mikael Silvestre, Shay Given, Patrick Vieira, Neil Mellor and James Beattie.
Attendees from the soap opera world included Helen Flanagan, Nikki Sanderson, Alice Barlow, Jamie Lomas, Kym Marsh and Tupele Dorgu.
Entertainment was provided by girl band Uneeq and a magician, Dynamo, who performed astonishing tricks on some of the footballers.
Guests were entertained between courses by acrobats, Britains Got Talent finalist Tobias Mead in his double act Duplicate, and Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh who sang at short notice after the absence due to illness of The Voice runner-up Bo Bruce.
After dinner, chart-toppers Lawson performed their hits and some covers, with goalie Joe Hart joining them to sing the Kings of Leon hit Sex On Fire, much to the delight of the crowd.
The finale of the night was the unveiling of a fairground which included a carousel, dodgems and a waltzer.
