A starlit marquee was the venue for a glitzy Crme de la Crme ball hosted by Dawn and Ashley Ward in the grounds of their Alderley Edge home.

The party was held to raise money for The Meningitis Trust, Destination Florida and Macclesfield Childrens Ward.

The event, organised by Entertainment Today, took an Around the World theme and included musical performances from Jon Christos and Jenny Williams, Kym Marsh, X Factor star Ruth Lorenzo, and Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow.

Among the many celebrity guests were TVs Loose Women Denise Welch and Zoe Tyler, Coronation Street stars Michelle Keegan, Ryan Thomas, Samia Smith and Will Thorp.
