Converted by the brewing magnate Henry Boddington in the late 19th Century, Pownall Hall is probably the finest example of the work of the New Century Guild and very much a working art gallery.
The event raised over 3,500 for school funds with requests from the boys and girls on the School Council for giant playground chessboards and new sports kits topping the wish list.
Chair of Pownall's Parents' Association Samantha Cahill said: "Pownall Hall is a fabulous location for a dinner dance, It's is steeped in so much history and everywhere you look there is such fabulous architectural detail and elegant decoration."
