The sun made a welcome appearance when Nunsmere Hall Hotel, in Oakmere, hosted their annual polo match at the Cheshire ground followed by a gourmet dinner.

The competition was closely fought with the winning team, Hair Raisers, taking the trophy.
To mark the end of the Talented Young Chef and Host season of dinners, guests enjoyed a five course gourmet meal at Nunsmere Hall prepared by chefs Liam Kearns and Charlotte Jepson with Leah Bratherton taking on the mantle of host.

Talented Young Chef dinners are held monthly in Cheshire. The initiative allows young staff the opportunity to demonstrate their passion for excellent food and service. The youngsters assume the mantle of Head Chef and Maitre dHotel for the evening, having previously planned and produced their signature dishes using local produce, culminating in the best dishes of the series being recreated for the gourmet dinner .

Built in 1900, Nunsmere Hall is located in a 100 acre estate surrounded by a 60 acre lake. It was originally the home of Sir Aubrey Brocklebank, Chairman of the Cunard Line.
