NAFAS Cheshire's 40th anniversary event, Frodsham

Green-fingered artistic ladies from across the county gathered at Frodsham Community Centre to mark a special occasion. They were celebrating the Ruby Anniversary of the Cheshire Area of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies).

Green-fingered artistic ladies from across the county gathered at Frodsham Community Centre to mark a special occasion. They were celebrating the Ruby Anniversary of the Cheshire Area of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies).


Long-serving members met with newer recruits to mark the branchs 40 years and no doubt swapped tips about their art.


Flower arranger Don Billington gave an hilarious talk and demonstration using sunflowers and pearls, echoing the themes of The Calendar Girls. He created a Woodland Fantasy arrangement for the occasion.
