Mollington Grange Wellbeing Centre opened their doors recently to 30 ladies from the Cheshire Area for an evening of pure indulgence for the mind, body and soul.

The evening was to raise funds to provide a pamper evening of treatments for parents with children at Claire House Childrens Hospice.

Owner Rosa Ellis said: We have supported local Charities in the past and felt that there was a special treat needed for those caring for their sick children. We thought that these people are sometimes overlooked and by raising monies at our event at Mollington we are now in a fantastic position to give that special treat to those in need of some respite. We hope to repeat these events on a regular basis and express our thanks to all who supported us.

Guests were treated to a choice of Reflexology, Manicures and Massage as well as the more unusual Body Talk, a therapy in which the bodys energy systems can be resynchronized so they can operate as nature intended.

The ladies also took part in a Tai Chi session and sampled wine from The Bianca Trading Company and jewellery designs from lbdesigns between treatments.

Senior Area fundraiser, Laura Breen said: The evening was a huge success and everyone had a wonderful time sampling the range of treatments. The idea to host an evening like this for parents of children at Claire House is really special, respite is an important part of our service and this is a great example of a way to help the hospice.
