Sex and the City glamour came to Alderley Edge at a women-only event that raised 800 for East Cheshire Hospice. More than 100 ladies were treated to a day of pampering, beauty and fashion including designer dresses by Halston Heritage and killer heels by Jimmy Choo, Louboutin and Fendi - favourites of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha. There were cocktails and cupcakes on arrival at the event, held at Gusto Restaurant and Bar, as well as models wearing dresses by award-winning designer Suzanne Neville.

The event, organised by Lynton Skin and Laser Specialists and Gusto, included free beauty treatments and skin imaging consultations, reflexology and massages from Ridgea Holistic, personal styling advice from My Style Companion and eyelashes from Nailrooms. There was also jewellery from Divine Rocks and local businesses donated prizes for the raffle.
