A gala dinner held underneath the Concorde aircraft on the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport was a super soaraway success! It raised just over £3,000 in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity which supports wounded ex-servicemen and women.

A gala dinner held underneath the Concorde aircraft on the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport was a super soaraway success! It raised just over 3,000 in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity which supports wounded ex-servicemen and women.


After a champagne reception accompanied by a pianist, dinner was served in the airport hangar, followed by a comedy turn from the evenings compere Russ Williams.


Several wounded soldiers who attended were guests of honour.
