A raffle, charity auction and the sale of 'mystery boxes' raised around £2,500 for Girlguiding Cheshire Border at a masquerade ball.

A raffle, charity auction and the sale of mystery boxes raised around 2,500 for Girlguiding Cheshire Border at a masquerade ball.

The event, held at Cranage Hall in Holmes Chapel, was attended by 140 guests and included entertainment from the band, Undercover. Money raised will help provide international opportunities for local girls.

This includes trips to India, Finland, Estonia, Siberia and Ghana.
