Chester turned red, white and royal blue as a parade of 14ft high models of the Queen paraded through the streets.

The 60 giants were created over several months and hundreds of people watched the spectacular display as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Singers, bands and other performers entertained the crowds and a street party was held in Northgate Street.
