Cheshire Dogs Home held its annual fund-raising dinner at Statham Lodge, near Lymm, with staff, volunteers and supporters gathering for an evening of fun. Even a fine example of mans best friend attended, in the shape of Max - a very docile companion!
The Bond-themed evening, Dogs Are Forever, included table games, raffle and casino, with all proceeds going to the charity.
The Dogs Homes latest celebrity patron, Max George from top band The Wanted, was on tour in the US but Max was ably represented by his actress fiance Michelle Keegan (Tina from Coronation Street) as well as his father and stepmother.
The dinner is now a fixture in the social calendar of dog lovers across Cheshire. Cheshire Dogs Home finds owners for 94% of the dogs that come into its care each year at it state-of-the-art site in Grappenhall.
