Bishop Heber High School, Malpas, Cheshire, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a dinner dance attended by 400 guests. Headteacher David Curry welcomed former students and present and former staff for an evening of celebration.

The evening, organised by Friends of Heber, included a four course dinner, dancing to a live band and an auction organised by former student Richard Goodwin. The event raised over 4,500 and a proportion of the funds will go to the Clic Sargent charity.
