Stockport-based Beechwood Cancer Care staged a Butterfly Ball to celebrate its 21st birthday.
Nearly 300 guests enjoyed a dinner dance at The Point, at Lancashire County Cricket Club hosted by Key 103s Chelsea Norris and her fianc Matt Spokes, also from Key 103.
Guests were entertained by singer Ali Birchenall and Roger Gamon who played classical guitar.
Alan Baxter the chair of Trustees made the wonderful announcement that Beechwood had reached the appeal target to extend the Family Therapy Unit.
The party was kicked off in style by The Ambassadors tribute to the legends. Elvis entered and left the building and the room was in uproar when Frankenfurter took to the stages. There was rapturous applause for the Blues Brothers set and the finale saw everyone looking for the way to Amarillo.
