Few guests were lost for words when the Association of the UK School of Professional Toastmasters gathered for their AGM and charity dinner at the Mere Court Hotel, Knutsford.
Guest of honour was HM Lord Lieutenant for Cheshire, David Briggs MBE K.St.J who was attended by Cadet Staff Sgt. Lauren Wright who represented Cheshire Army Cadets.

The AUKSPT is the largest toastmasters association in the UK and this year decided to come north for its annual festivities. Organisers John and Sally Reid commented that the weekend had been a great success with the wives and partners enjoying some retail therapy in Knutsford.

John added that the Association was delighted to donate proceeds of the draw to the Lord Lieutenants nominated charity, the Cheshire Army Cadets.
