Abbey College Manchester celebrated their 20th Birthday with a celebrity charity dinner held at Players' restaurant and bar, The Marriot Hotel in Hale Barns Cheshire raising £2,506.
Abbey College Manchester celebrated their 20th Birthday with a celebrity charity dinner held at Players restaurant and bar, The Marriot Hotel in Hale Barns Cheshire raising 2,506 with all proceeds going to Francis House and the Haiti Earthquake Victims.
The independent college hosted a night to remember for alumni, staff and current pupils together with TV star Jamie Lomas of Hollyoaks acclaim.
Guests were treated to an auction with a number of high profile items donated from the stars of TV and Sport, including a watch from Jamie Lomas that he wore in the soap as character Warren Fox, a signed cricket bat from Andrew (Freddie) Flintoff and a script from Coronation Street signed by the cast.
College Principal Liz Elam said: The evening has been a great success, and highlights the significant progress of the college over the past 20 years.
As a direct result of our outstanding achievements, we now have over 200 pupils with 80% of students local to the Greater Manchester area and surrounding regions.
We continue to support our students in fulfilling their potential and achieving success in their studies and future endeavours.
