A traditional Burns Night celebration enhanced by the glamour of black tie and champagne - was held at the Alderley Edge Hotel, complete with kilts and haggis. The toast, of course, was the life and achievements of Robbie Burns, Scotlands legendary poet. But diners also found a moment to praise the culinary talents of the hotels chefs who created a superb meal for the celebration.
