Cheshire Life and Lancashire Life readers joined the crowds who packed Calderstones Park to watch the Liverpool International tennis tournament, Europes largest exhibition event.
It was the occasion when three former Wimbledon womens champions came together - Martina Hingis, Martina Navratilova and Silver Jubilee year winner Virginia Wade.
The Calderstones event is in its 10th year and featured a mens and womens main event, as well as one for veterans and some exhibition games. Visitors watched a memorable doubles exhibition featuring Mikael Pernfors, former British number one Greg Rusedski, Ormskirks Barry Cowan and Mansour Bahrami, whose comic court routines have become legendary.
