Wilmslow Golf Club held a lunch to celebrate the ladies’ section becoming 125 years old this year.
Lady Captain Tricia Sturrock invited guest speaker Tricia Stewart, one of the original Calendar Girls, who gave a fascinating talk about the alternative WI Calendar and how the fundraising is still continuing today.
Over 70 women golfers and guests enjoyed a drinks reception and viewed fashion and travel stalls from Lisa Stirling Vintage, I’vegotnothingtowear and Eden Luxury Travel.
This was followed by a three course lunch in the main lounge overlooking the course.
