A glamorous black tie evening held at Tatton Park topped off a year of fundraising efforts by the Wilmslow-based wealth management firm, Equilibrium.

To celebrate 21 years of business, the company has raised £21,000 for five charities: Francis House Children’s Hospice, The Christie Charitable Fund, Enthusiasm, Alzheimer’s Society and St. Kentigern Hospice. On the night, 700 guests helped to raise £5,500, which was then match-funded by The Equilibrium Foundation.

Colin Lawson, founder and partner, said: ‘We’ve always believed strongly that given the fortunate position we find ourselves in it’s important for us to give something back. That money will go to help some fantastic organisations who do extremely important work both locally and nationally so we’re extremely proud to have met our target.’
