The Steve Burne Charitable Trust held its annual ‘Life is Beautiful’ ladies’ lunch in The Marquee Room at Bowdon Rugby Club.

Ladies from all over Manchester gathered to celebrate the life of the late Steve Burne whilst raising money for the Trust, a charity that Steve had set up. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal followed by dancing into the evening to a variety of musical entertainment. The event raised a staggering £17,670, which will go towards helping The Ronald McDonald House in Manchester, which provides free accommodation and support for families with sick children in hospital. Steve helped raise millions for The Ronald McDonald House, who honoured him by naming five rooms in his memory, something his family is incredibly proud of.
