It was a dazzling night as guests were treated to a special Strictly themed evening hosted by The Grange School Parents Association at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa

The stage was set at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford as The Grange School teams waltzed and jived in sequins and sparkles to raise money for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust in honour of special guest Molly Chapman; a young girl at the junior school who was sadly diagnosed with cancer.

The charity is dedicated to improving early diagnosis of the childhood disease. Guests were welcomed by hosts Tom Fordyce and Sarah Jayne Dunn who auctioned off the fourth and final judge spot. After a delicious three-course dinner, the show began with 10 competitors, partnered with professional dancers from Cadmans dance studio. The coveted first prize spot went to Anna Evans and her partner Alex Whyatt who impressed the judges with their passionate salsa. Second place went to Helen Gunn who performed a fast-paced jive with partner Lewis Crowder. Those in attendance were also treated to a performance by Chloe Hewitt and Curtis Pritchard, two of the evening's judges. The evening also saw Andy Scaife, with sponsorship totalling £13,000, win the contestant fundraising award. More than £76,000 has been raised for the organisation so far. u
