The Hilton Hotel in Liverpool One hosted the fourth annual Star Ball to support the Steven Gerrard Foundation and the Hilton in the Community Foundation.

The Hollywood Ball, themed by Big Event Group, was jointly hosted by Radio City Breakfast presenter Simon Ross and BBC Radio Merseyside presenter and comedian, Willy Miller. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception and canapés, followed by a four-course dinner.

Celebrity guests in attendance included Steven and Alex Gerrard, actresses Sheree Murphy and Charley Webb, actor Andrew Lancel, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and British Super Middleweight Champion boxer Paul Smith.

Entertainment included performances from Alan Cross and Claire Pritchard, before Marcus Collins and his band filled the dance floor with a party set.

The event raised over £25,000 for the charities with auction prizes including a break at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, five nights at the Hilton Resort and Spa in Mauritius, a Boodles pendant and chauffeur-driven transport for a Jeremy Kyle experience.
