Soroptimist International Runcorn, Frodsham and District raises funds for Halton Haven Hospice

Money was raised for Halton Haven Hospice at a ladies’ lunch hosted by Soroptimist International Runcorn, Frodsham and District.

The event, held at Runcorn Golf Club, raised £2,747 for the hospice which provides specialist care for patients in the Runcorn, Widnes, and Frodsham areas. A cocktail reception greeted over 100 guests, who then enjoyed lunch followed by a raffle.
There was also a talk from guest speaker Brian Lloyd, who spoke about his lifelong interest in comedy and comedians.
