The charity supports two terminally ill children, Ollie and Amelia Carroll and other children around the UK who suffer from Batten Disease. The ball, named A Brother's Wish was the idea of Danny and Micky, the siblings of Ollie and Amelia. The sold-out event was organised by the Carroll family and their close friends who dedicated their time and effort to support this important cause.
The ball opened with entertainment in the form of dancers from the Dance at the Smithy Dance and Theatre School. With the help of an auction, the event raised a staggering £23,166 which will go towards raising awareness of this rare genetic condition.
