Guests at a Las Vegas themed dinner dance raised £15,000 for two cancer charities.

ITV Granada presenter Paul Crone hosted the Lee Sharpe Foundation event at Manchester’s Midland Hotel. The charity was founded ten years ago by friends Greg Thomson, Colin and Tina Booth and former Manchester United footballer Lee Sharpe.

Over 240 guests at the event enjoyed live entertainment from Dominic Halpin and the Honeybees and games on the roulette and blackjack tables.

Organiser Tina Booth said: ‘It was a brilliant night and everyone had a great time. We’ve already had people putting their names down for next year’s dinner dance.’

Money raised on the night will go to The Christie Hospital and a children’s cancer charity.
