The chic Lowry Hotel was the venue for a celebration to mark the launch of the new vintage of Laurent-Perrier champagne, the 2006.

David Hesketh, Laurent-Perrier UK managing director and master of wine hosted a tasting of not only the 2006 Vintage but the 2002 and 2004 in the hotel’s Laurent-Perrier private dining room.

David Green, Laurent-Perrier’s regional account manager who, along with colleagues was delighted last year when their house won the prestigious Alderley Edge Hotel/Cheshire Life Champagne Oscar accolade, said the occasion at the Lowry was one of several to celebrate the delightful 2006 Vintage. Restaurateurs and hoteliers were among the guests who enjoyed the bubbly.

The Grande Marque of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 and is one of the most revered and popular houses.
