The scorching sun meant visitors to the stand were keen to sample some of the fabulous recipes that can be conjured from Creamline’s range of store-cupboard staples, including the refreshing Strawberries and Creamline smoothies that celebrity chef Nigel Brown whipped up in a series of dazzling cookery demonstrations.

More than 7,500 sample bottles of locally sourced Creamline milk were gratefully received by visitors to the stand – handed out by Creamline promotional staff – easily spotted in their eye-catching cow print onesies. Other goodies being sampled included Strawberries and Creamline scones, scrummy scotch eggs and delicious coffee banoffee smoothies – all designed to showcase the range of locally sourced dairy and store cupboard essentials available to order online for doorstep delivery from www.creamline.co.uk

Children were delighted to meet Channel 5’s Milkshake presenter Olivia Birchenough, who worked closely with the dairy to produce an entertaining and educational video about milk’s journey from the cow to their breakfast table.

Commenting on the day, Olivia said: ‘Helping spread the word about the importance of milk and where it comes from is an important task and I’ve really enjoyed working with Creamline. As well as being on hand at the Cheshire Show we also unveiled an exclusive preview of the new video, giving children an insight into the local Cheshire farmers Creamline works so closely with. The reaction has been great and it’s lovely to see the kids’ faces when they watch the film!’

Further highlights of the day included viewing a vintage Creamline van and photo opportunities with the Creamline pantomine cow and Channel 5’s Olivia.

Joint MD Chris Swallow said, “We’re delighted to have sponsored the main ring at this year’s Cheshire County Show. There was a fantastic atmosphere at the event and we were thrilled about the warm reaction from Creamline customers and Cheshire residents – it really brought home that Creamline is an integral part of the Cheshire community.

Making morning mayhem caused by empty fridges and bare store cupboards a thing of the past for Greater Manchester and Cheshire families, Creamline’s service means that online orders placed by registered customers by 9pm will arrive in time for breakfast.

With a firm focus on providing local produce for local people, Creamline has reduced milk miles to within a 30 mile radius of the dairy’s Greater Manchester headquarters, supplying hundreds of independent milk businesses throughout the North West with fresh milk, as well as its online doorstep delivery service.

Celebrity chef Nigel Brown highlighted how having to make top-up purchases can take up a great deal of time for busy families – a problem that Creamline addresses: “As a busy chef and father of three, I’m always looking for ways to find a convenient solution to save valuable time. If, like me, you’re passionate about using local top quality ingredients, then I would highly recommend a look round Creamline’s website. With easy, online ordering it’s a cinch, so you can make good use of all that time saved and do something you really enjoy!”
