Chris and Laura Bacon and their business partner Steve Smethurst have spent thousands transforming the venue on Ashley Road into a cool new club.
VIP guests, including the Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Dawn Ward and Stoke City footballer Erik Pieters, were greeted with a champagne reception.
Hair and make-up artists were on hand to provide touch-ups throughout the night. In launching Club Arvina, Chris is paying tribute to his late brother Tim (who launched the highly successful Living Ventures restaurant chain) and his 11-year-old son Jett. Tim and Jett both lost their battles with cancer within four days of each other in 2016.
Chris Bacon said: ‘Believe it or not, Arvina is the Latin name for bacon and this venture is our way of paying homage to both of them. I would like to say a big thank you for all the support from everyone who attended the launch. Wow – what a party!’
