November 30th - January 6th

Sleeping Beauty

This Christmas get ready to watch the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty with more than a touch of comedy. This pantomime stars actor Ted Robbins and soap star Claire King, who both make a welcome return to the Plaza. Stunning sets and incredible effects help make this show a treat you won’t want to miss.

The Wizard of Oz

Make time in your festive calendar to visit the Wizard and be transported to the magical city of Oz. Sing along with classics like Somewhere over the Rainbow and We’re off to See the Wizard. With a cast of talented individuals, you’ll feel like you were travelling down the Yellow Brick Road yourself.

December 8th - January 6th


Journey on a magical flying-carpet and become part of Aladdin’s world. Expect a wish granting genie, an evil sorcerer and a lamp full of laughs. Starring soap star Bill Ward as Abanazar and Balamory favourite Andrew Agnew as Aladdin’s brother Wishee Washee. Expect stunning sets, beautiful costumes and an endless supply of jokes.

December 8th - 30th


Join the stunning Cinders as she outwits her ugly stepsisters and wins the heart of the Prince Charming with the help of her pal Buttons and her magical fairy godmother. Coronation Street star Connor McIntyre and Les Dennis star as the ugly stepsisters competing for the Prince’s affection. Shannon Flynn takes the title role that catches the eye of singer turned theatre star Gareth Gates, who will play Prince Charming.

Beauty and the Beast 

Take the whole family to enjoy this beastly pantomime packed full of jokes, dazzling costumes and sing-along songs. Starring Brindley favourites Rebecca Lake as Belle, Charlie Griffiths as the Beast, and Sugababe singer Amelle Berrabah as a magical fairy. It’s set to be an entertaining and mystical occasion.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Our favourite rags to riches story is back with dazzling costumes, singing and dancing and a comic script suitable for all ages. With a star-studded line up of The X Factor’s Gary Barker as Prince Charming, resident villain Darren John-Langford from Hollyoaks playing an Ugly Sister and the fabulously flamboyant Ryan Towart. Local star Eva McKenna will play the beautiful Cinderella and Michael Bailey returns to play loveable Buttons.
