Mini photoshoots for Christmas
Christmas starts early for sisters Stacey Natar and Sarah Maguire – and their job is to create photographic memories that capture the joy of the season with captivating images of children getting ready for the big day.
They started their Christmas Mini sessions in 2017 and have sold out every year.
This year the photographic set-up in Stacey’s garden at Cranage, just south of Knutsford is Covid-proofed.
Award-winning photographer Stacey, whose eight-year-old daughter and twins, aged seven, are pictured top, takes the photographs and Sarah is The Little Cheshire Co. Ltd business manager and picture editor.
Stacey says: “We wanted to offer something unique, something Christmassy but tasteful. We spent months planning the photo sessions, buying our props, painting the little car we use as a prop three times – only to realise the paint wouldn’t dry on the plastic...
“We bought eight real Christmas trees and spent two hours at Ivy Cottage Tree Farm in Wilmslow, picking the perfect shapes and heights.
“We planned each detail down to a T. We were beyond excited and we have sold out our sessions every year within 48 hours of releasing them ever since.”
Stacey is also known for her photo sessions in the glorious lavender patch at her home, specialises in maternity and newborn photography, and has a studio for fine art children’s portraiture.
“Our clients come back year after year and most families we’re due to photograph this year are back for the fourth year running. It’s amazing to see our families grow,” she says.
Sessions are £150 and include three high-resolution digital images. Dogs and parents can be added on booking and there’s the option to add a Christmas gift pack, with all digital images plus gift prints and Christmas cards.
