Over 100 guests, including Red Dwarf actor Danny John-Jules and celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott, helped to raised more than £6,000 – the equivalent of $20,000 East Caribbean dollars.
All the proceeds will go towards community projects in Dominica, helping them to rebuild following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017.
Guests enjoyed a rum punch reception sponsored by the Dominica High Commission, followed by a dinner and auction.
Adam Partridge said: ‘I have been auctioneer at hundreds of charity events over the years but I have never actually organised one myself. After visiting Dominica and seeing the damage caused by Hurricane Maria, I wanted to hold my own event. I am hugely grateful to all those who supported the evening.’
