Fizzing with fun
Corks and bubbles were popping at the fourth Fizz Festival held at The Courthouse in Knutsford.
Organiser Janet Harrison said that a fantastic time was had by all as ticket holders tasted their way around the world of sparkling wine.
Unlike many similar drinks events, the entry price included a free taste of everything on offer, including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and Crémant. It was also a rare opportunity to meet producers and suppliers of this celebration wine.
Visitors voted for their favourite in the Fizz Festival People’s Choice Awards. It was three wins in a row for Epernay-based Esprit de Champagne who won the Best Champagne Award with Champagne David Coutelas Tradition, sponsored by McAlister Law in Alderley Edge.
