The Bolesworth Showjumping Classic is Cheshire's most exciting sporting and social event of 2011.
The Bolesworth Showjumping Classic is Cheshires most exciting sporting and social event of 2011.
The show, packed with entertainment, is held at the romantic Bolesworth Castle, on the A41 between Chester and Whitchurch, from Thursday, June 9th to Sunday, June 12th.
Saturdays highlight is the Express Eventing qualifier where 2011 Badminton champion, Mark Todd and former Badminton and Burghley winner, Oliver Townend will be in action.
Sunday sees the Bolesworth Showjumping Grand Prix with prize money totalling 18,000. Past competitors include John Whitaker, Nick Skelton, Robert Smith, Michael Whitaker, Geoff Billington, Billy Twomey and Ellen Whitaker.
There are 40 different showjumping classes at Bolesworth which attract the top experienced and junior riders. Some of the best action will be in the pony classes and the Mini Major Relay where juniors pair up with professionals in an exciting showjumping relay.
Entertainment includes The X Factors Ruth Lorenzo at the Bolesworth Big Night Out on Saturday (tickets, including dinner 40 each), cooking with celebrity chef Brian Mellor, the Jive Pony display team, the Fashion Fete with television hairdresser Tommy van der Veken, Fine Food Marquee, arts and crafts, Halls Antiques Roadshow, WOW balls, pony rides, fun fair and Punch and Judy.
