One of the most popular films of all time is coming to the Manchester Opera House stage, Miracle on 34th Street The Musical. Relive this Christmas classic as Kris Kringle takes on the non believers of New York City in an all-singing, all-dancing, all-snowing adaptation.

Ding Dong Merrily: Tatton’s Favourite Carols

Dick Whittington
Emmerdale’s Kurtis Stacey takes centre stage as the rags-to-riches hero, Dick Whittington. Follow Dick and his cat on his fun-filled quest for fame and fortune and his attempts to win the hand of the lovely Alice. Performance also stars Sally Lindsay (Coronation Street) as Fairy Fazakerley.

Sorry, Christmas is Cancelled… Katie Saves the Day
What’s a child’s biggest fear? Christmas being cancelled of course! In this interactive seasonal treat, Katie and all of the other children around the world have just received the news that thieves have broken into Father Christmas’ grotto and stolen all the presents. With only a few sleeps left until the big day, there is no time to make any more. All seems lost until Katie hitches a ride on a magical bird to The North Pole, determined to help Father Christmas to try and save the day.

The Snowman
Chester Cathedral will see the return of The Snowman this Christmas, following on from the acclaimed sell-out performances last year. The majestic setting is the perfect venue to watch the timeless film, which will be shown on a large screen accompanied by a live, professional orchestra.

Moominland Midwinter
The Moomins come to life on stage at Waterside Arts Centre this Christmas in the magical Moominland Midwinter, starring Moomintroll, Little My, Too-Ticky, The Hemulen, Snork Maiden and Moominmamma. Join them in Moominland where actors and beautiful full-sized puppets perform a new adaptation of one of Tove Jansson’s best-loved original stories, accompanied by a specially-written soundtrack.

Sleeping Beauty
Following the success of last year’s family pantomime, the Floral Pavilion and Martin Dodd for UK Productions returns this Christmas with Sleeping Beauty. A spectacular show packed with smash-hit songs and stunning sets, the cast includes Coronation Street’s Vicky Entwistle as Carabosse and Amy Thompson from Channel 5’s Milkshake as Princess Briar Rose.

A Song for Christmas

The Rat Pack at Christmas
