Archant
If your looking forward to a barbeque this summer, but don’t want the hassle of organising your own, there are plenty of American style eateries in the region you could try, here’s a few that we found.
SoLita, Didsbury
Billed as the ‘Home of the Big Manc’ - the original burger on the Solita menu is comprised of 2 6oz beef patties in a trifecta broche bun and the usual toppings. The burger section on the menu has grown over the years to go with the selctions of wings and hotdogs.

All Star Lanes, Deansgate
Bowling alleys have a reputation for sticky carpets and bad hotdogs and poor décor. All Star Lanes have padded out their Manchester location in homage to the archetypal 50’s bowling alley with the obligitory dining booths and the menu is filled with all things Americana. . We recommend the ‘King Pin Burger’ with ‘Cured Treacle Bacon’ and of course bowling!
