Ann Billington is the fundraising manager at Destination Florida and organiser of their holidays to Disneyworld for children with serious health problems.

Shes busy finalising plans for 77 children and 110 volunteers to make the trip later this month. Ann is married with four grown-up children and six grandchildren.

She enjoys visits to America where her son lives with his wife and their baby daughter. Spare hours are filled gardening at home in Hazel Grove, but Ann also enjoys going out for lunches with girlfriends and dinner with her husband, David.

The Plough and Flail
Paddock Hill,
Mobberley, WA16 7DB

You are always sure of a good meal and service here in a lively atmosphere. On fine and sunny days you can sit in the large outdoor seating veranda and theres a great childrens play area. We prefer a week night as its so busy at the weekend but whenever you go you can be sure of an excellent meal

The Old Boathouse
Red Wharf Bay,
Anglesey, LL75 8RJ

For over 25 years, weve enjoyed many family meals including afternoon teas, lunches and dinners at The Old Boathouse. We remember when Sarah, the owner, and her family, started by selling their homemade ice-cream. It was always a favourite with our children and now with the grandchildren. The Boathouse is now well established and a popular place offering a choice of two restaurants and light snacks.

We like to sit outside enjoying a scone, cream and jam with a pot of tea. You would go a long way to find a more beautiful view than Red Wharf Bay

The Saffron Room
The White House, New Road,
Prestbury, SK10 4DG

The flavours and aromatic dishes are delicious and we love eating here. The comfortable surroundings and friendly staff are more than happy to explain the different spices and tastes of the dishes, which makes an evening meal very enjoyable. Friends we have invited to join us at Saffron always appreciate the quality of the food and return to the restaurant.

47 King Street West
Manchester M3 2PW

Cocktails, champagne and an excellent menu complement the striking, vibrant environment of this recently opened restaurant conveniently located in central Manchester. Whether its a meal before the theatre or a dinner the quality of food and service make this a restaurant you want to return to again and again.

The Egerton Arms
Knutsford, Chelford, SK11 9BB

The menu offers a variety of choices, but their Sunday roast is a favourite of mine. If Im not cooking at home, its a relaxing and enjoyable meal in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient under the mindful eye of Jeremy, the charismatic owner who has recently upgraded the pub and is opening an upmarket delicatessen alongside it.
