This is a cosy, intimate restaurant, with wonderful decor and their sticky toffee pudding must be a strong contender for best in the world. The menu has classic combinations of taste with innovative twists that make it a joy to eat. Food is beautifully presented and accompanied by a warm smile. I love the attention to detail in the quality of the food: you can almost taste the love that has gone into the preparation and cooking. I hope it continues to do well: it deserves to.

The combination of paragliding, warm turquoise sea and a great choice of restaurants in this area is hard to resist. Buzz has a wonderful outdoor bar and restaurant area on the seafront, so the views of the sun setting over the bay are stunning as the last of the paragliders come into land. Great cocktails here too!

I love the physical space here, and the acoustics are great, meaning a lively buzz but with the ability to enjoy conversation. The service is attentive and the food beautifully presented. I love that Patrick has his own smallholding, which supplies some of the meat and eggs. The food is impeccable, with the menu changing regularly, but keeping the favourites. Its great having this close by without needing to go to their other restaurant in Didsbury.

Ive been a regular since it developed out of the wonderful Mauros and its been great to see it grow and maintain its high standards. I have always eaten well here, and particularly love the fish dishes.
Its a popular family restaurant too. Emrullah makes everyone feel special and his staff never fail to deliver fantastic Italian flavours, within a friendly ambience.
Casa da Pasto Armenio,
As unpretentious as they come, but with the most wonderful fresh fish brought into the busy fish market in Olhao in the Algarve. Simple decor, very busy with local people idling over a working lunch and right on the edge of the stunning Ria Formosa. The simple terrace often has a barbecue, the dining room layout means you can be sitting with total strangers, often local workmen and fishermen who value the quality and price of this perfect little family-run restaurant. It is not just typically Portuguese, it is one of the those gems of Portuguese family cooking where quality and freshness of ingredients is of absolute importance and I love the variety of fish on offer, depending on the days catch.
