Lovers of good food and drink rejoiced when the Foodies Festival returned to Tatton Park

Foodies indulged in a spectacular range of food and drink across three days at a festival in Tatton Park. Foodies Festival, the UK’s biggest food festival, returned to Knutsford again this year bringing a host of famous faces to the event.

Visitors had the chance to meet Great British Menu chefs Aiden Byrne (Cheshire Life’s Chef of the Year 2016) and Mary-Ellen McTague, who cooked some of their signature recipes in the Aga Rangemaster Chefs’ Theatre, alongside celebrity chef Ed Baines and the winner of MasterChef 2016, Jane Devonshire.

As well as the opportunity to pick up culinary delights from artisan producers, those wanting to get ‘hands on’ learnt to bake in the cake and bake theatre. Budding sommeliers tasted wine, champagne and craft beer in the drinks’ theatre. There was family fun too: youngsters enjoyed the children’s cookery theatre and live music.
