Fox & Barrel, Cotebrook
The mission statement at this 16-year stalwart of the Good Pub Guide, now also Good Food Guide listed, is to offer an unbeatable combination of good food, fine wines, well-kept cask ales and great company. The standards of preparation and presentation are uniformly high in everything we do and represent. Chef Gary Kidds use of the best raw materials produces a succession of superb top restaurant quality dishes.

Red Lion, High Lane
