This new guide from Countryside Books contains 20 walks that are perfect for your dog, with each one starting and finishing at a great pub where your canine companion will be welcomed with open arms.

These tried-and-tested circular walks, all between 1 and 5.5 miles, have been designed specifically with dogs and their owners in mind. That means lots of off-lead time and as few stiles as possible.

Highlights include spectacular views around Frodsham Hill and Delamere Forest; woodland and tranquil countryside around Lindow, Tatton Park and Wood Lane; stretches of the Wirral Way, Trans Pennine Trail and the Salt Line; waterside walks by the River Dee, Pickmere Lake and the Trent & Mersey Canal.

To give you a taste, Countryside Books have made one of the walks available for free on their website here – a cracking 3.5-mile route around Knutsford & Tatton Park. From there, you can download a PDF version of the walk to print or take with you on the walk.

And if you like that, we have FIVE free copies of the book to give away
