University of Chester 175th anniversary gala dinner

A sumptuous gala dinner was hosted by the University of Chester as the culmination of its 175th anniversary year celebrations.

The Parkgate Road Campus in Chester was transformed into a red carpet venue for 340 guests for a lively evening which concluded with fireworks.

Honorary graduates present included BBC TV presenter Dr Louise Minchin and alumni The Singh Twins, Dr Amrit and Dr Rabindra Singh. The gala dinner was followed by a staff ball over two nights.
