Celebrities came out to support the eighth annual Star Ball at the Hilton Hotel, Liverpool One, in aid of Variety the Children’s Charity and the D. M. Thomas Foundation for young people.

Celebrity guests included boxer Paul Smith, Everton legends Ian Snodin and Kevin Ratcliffe, along with former Liverpool FC hero John Aldridge and Radio City 2’s Simon Ross.

The glamorous black tie ball was hosted by Peter Price. Guests were welcomed with champagne and canapés, followed by a four course dinner.
