Over 400 ladies helped to raise the magnificent sum of £22,500 for The Christie Hospital, Manchester, at a glamorous event at Chester Racecourse.

Guests enjoyed lunch while watching the Cheltenham Gold Cup, before being inspired by a fashion show with designs from Abi Fisher, SVE Fashion and the Fabulous Hat Company. There was also an auction which featured fabulous prizes including an 18 carat diamond set Roulette pendant kindly donated by Boodles, plus an Aston Martin driving experience.

Hayley Hutchings, from the Nantwich Christie Hospital Support Group who organised the event, said: ‘I cannot express my delight with how everything went; it was a magical day. I would like to thank everyone for their loyal support and look forward to a future without cancer.’
