As part of their 125 year anniversary celebrations, Gawsworth Methodist Church near Macclesfield held a Festival of Flowers.

The event, which had the theme of ‘A Time for Joy’, saw hundreds of people attend to enjoy the flowers which depicted the history of the chapel.

They were arranged and displayed by the Ladies of Bramall Hall Flower Club, with each arrangement representing different aspects of the church, taking everyone on a spiritual journey through the times. As part of the celebrations there was also a Songs of Praise evening and a lunch with invited guests.
